Hannah and Steph’s in-home family photo shoot in Brisbane, Queensland

As parents we want to hold onto the moments. If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times: time is a thief. In the absence of a time freezing super-power (wouldn’t that be cool!), photographs are a family’s best way to hold onto the memories. I go into more reasons to have a photo shoot in this blog post, but suffice it to say more photos is always a good idea.

Arriving at Steph and Hannah’s adorable home, I instantly felt like we were old friends. I’m one lucky photographer to get to capture such gorgeous people, inside and out.

At home family photo sessions are a great option for a relaxed shoot. We get to hang in your space, play with toys, break for snacks and hang out. It’s a lovely way to capture memories, to really get at the heart of your family dynamic.

One question I am often asked is “what if my kids don’t want to sit for photos, or smile at the camera”? No worries! In fact, my style embraces the moments and connection. Just relax and enjoy your family, I’ve got the rest.

In home family photo sessions are a great way to help put your kiddos at ease. Want to talk about more tips and tricks to make great photos? Let’s chat!
