Brisbane Maternity Photo Shoot in the Woods

We met at a nature reserve in the northern Brisbane suburbs; a beautiful couple, awaiting the birth of their son, and their three dogs. As we walked along the path chatting, I found myself reflecting on this special time. The last few weeks when it is you and your partner, when all the unknown remains like a dream ahead of you. A time of anticipation, it can be both exhilarating and daunting all at the same time.

When K and T told me they wanted to capture this chapter of their family with their three fur babies I was beyond excited. In every session I strive to create a variety of images, hoping to create a story in pictures. I love a beautiful pulled-back image with some scenery and the close-up details. In the moment of being very pregnant, we often think we will remember it all, but having the photos is such a gift for yourself and to share with bub. This maternity photo shoot had so much love and warmth and I cannot wait to meet Baby M.
