Overcast Family Photo Shoot in Boondall Wetlands Queensland

The day we met, the sun had been playing peek-a-boo all afternoon with the clouds, but the overcast weather couldn’t keep the love and sweetness from shining through in this family. Alex wanted a woodsy/bush backdrop and we met at one of my favorites spots in the Boondall Wetlands for a relaxed family photo session.

Little children can take a few minutes to warm up to a new person with a camera taking photographs, but that’s ok! A perfect time for the family to slow down and focus on each other while everyone gets comfortable being in front of the camera. I’ve got games and a few tricks up my sleeves to get everyone comfortable, but best thing is for the adults to relax - kids will follow!

I loved this location for the beautiful tress and gorgeous texture. Even with an overcast day there is plenty of spots for gorgeous photos.
